Ingredients

cup
dates (madjool and/or blonde dates)
pitted
2-3
cups
hot water (for soaking)
discard before adding to blender
1/4
cup
plain dairy free milk
I use coconut or oat
1
tbsp
cashew butter
1/2
tsp
vanilla extract
1/2
tsp
flakey salt
I used Maldon
Instructions
Bring 2-3 cups of water to a boil. Into a medium sized bowl, add dates and pout over hot water and soak for about 5 minutes.
Drain the water from the dates.
Add dates, plant milk, cashew butter, vanilla extract and flakey salt to a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Serve with sliced fruit or on ice cream, enjoy!
