Equipment

  • ice cream machine optional

Ingredients

  • 2 cup plain dairy free yogurt
  • 1/2 cup plain dairy free milk I used a cashew base
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup add more if you want a sweeter frozen yogurt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix until well combined.
  • Place into an ice cream maker (making sure the base is chilled according to your ice cream maker instructions).
  • Churn on the ice cream setting for 15 minutes.
  • I used a piping bag with a star tip to create the frozen yogurt swirl (it's still delicious however you present it)
  • Serve with toppings of choice (diced berries, fruit, chocolate chips, granola etc all work well).
  • Store in an airtight container in the freezer for at least 3 hours and it serves as a delicious ice cream!
  • Note: You can also make this without an ice cream maker, see FAQs above.

Notes

If you don't have an ice cream maker, you can still make this recipe!  See the instructions under FAQ's in the blog post!
