This easy to make vegan salted caramel sauce is heavenly! Healthy and made without any refined sugar.
The star of the show, dates!
Dates aka Nature’s Caramel
Dates are naturally sweet and have natural caramel like flavor.
I used two types of dates in this recipe, medjool dates and blonde dates. You can use either one or a mixture of both. The blonde dates you can find online here.
Combined with just a few simple whole food ingredients and you have a creamy salty sweet caramel sauce, with no cooking required. All you need is a blender to achieve this caramel sauce in minutes!
The ingredients:
-
dates
-
dairy free milk (I like coconut or oat milk for this recipe)
-
cashew butter
-
vanilla extract
-
flakey salt (I used Maldon salt)
