If you’re looking for a healthy way to transform your oatmeal into a delicious dessert like treat, look no further! These strawberry chocolate baked oats are incredible!
My mind was blown considering the texture is like a cake but it’s one of the easiest things to make and so yummy!
A fun breakfast alternative
I love having baked oats for breakfast now, you can even make them for dessert too! I added a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream and it was the perfect single serving cake!
The best thing about this recipe is its packed with fiber from the oats, fruit and chia seeds. These are foods I like to start the day with as they help with digestion and leave me feeling fueled but not heavy.
Baked oats are incredibly versatile to make and I love this version pairing together strawberry and chocolate.
I add a piece of carob chocolate in the middle and once its cooked it creates a delicious gooey chocolatey center.
You can use any chocolate you like for this recipe.
I personally love to use Better Carob which is a chocolate alternative made of carob that tastes just like it, is completely caffeine free and packed with nutrients and vitamins like calcium!
To make this in minutes, I add all the batter ingredients into a my Magic Bullet!
Place into a ramekin and into the oven to bake for about 25-35 minutes depending on desired texture.
If you want more a soft, slightly gooey inside cook for 25 minutes and if you want it more cooked through cake like texture cook for closer to 35 minutes. You can always adjust the time depending on your oven. I’ve had this both ways and loved the texture!
