This creamy maple mustard dressing is essentially a creamy vegan honey mustard sauce. 🙂
It’s the perfect healthy salad that encompasses so much flavor.
It really is one of those salad dressings you can chug!
During the Fall and Winter months, not only do I crave more filling and warm meals but I want my salads/salad dressings to be that way too!
What You Need to Make this Creamy Maple Mustard Tahini Dressing:
-
tahini
-
lemon juice
-
filtered water
-
stoneground mustard
-
maple syrup
-
sea salt
-
caraway seeds
This dressing is made with a base of tahini (aka ground sesame seeds) which makes this super creamy without the dairy.
Combining maple syrup and mustard (very similar to honey mustard) is just a match made in heaven!
I use stoneground mustard which is a super flavorful, healthy mustard that is sort of a cross between yellow and Dijon.
One of my favorite secret ingredients to this recipe is caraway seeds!
If you’ve ever had rye bread, caraway seeds are the seeds in rye bread that give it such good flavor. You can omit them if you but I love the little added flavor to this recipe.
Pair this dressing with the following recipes:
