sweet and savory tahini sauce

Sweet and Savory Tahini Sauce (vegan & gluten free)

Equipment

  • grater or microplane
  • personal blender

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 inch piece of ginger, grated
  • small handful cilantro some stems are OK as they have flavor and will blend up
  • 1 garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dulse flakes see above
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne or 1 tsp minced jalapeƱo optional

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a personal blender (I use a magic bullet) and blend until smooth.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 5 days in an airtight container (I leave the leftovers in my magic bullet container.
