I absolutely love buffalo cauliflower wings but turning them into easy, appetizing tacos really takes them to the next level!Â
Topping it off with vegan cilantro ranch sauce, using all clean whole food ingredients and the flavor is out of this world!
Turning your favorite foods into tacos is not only delicious but it really stretches out the meal. I was able to have way more food without much extra work. Â
Making These Vegan And Gluten Free!
These cauliflower wings are made completely vegan using Primal Kitchens Buffalo Sauce. This stuff is SO yummy and makes this recipe much quicker to put together. Â
This recipe is also gluten free using gluten free flour for the batter and grain free tortillas from Siete Tortillas.Â
All their tortillas are incredible! I love the cassava and chickpea ones especially with this recipe, they taste like regular flour tortillas and you can freeze them so you always have them on hand! (I have about 5 packages in my freezer at all times, no joke!)
This is one my favorite meals to make for someone who may be transitioning to a plant based and/or gluten free diet or may be hesitant about it because it has really familiar flavors and is really hearty!
Buffalo cauliflower wings always call for ranch in my opinion and my Cilantro Ranch is absolutely phenomenal as a sauce for these tacos. Combining simple ingredients like cashews, lemon, spices and herbs creates the creamiest gourmet style ranch!Â
You can also check out my Hemp Seed Ranch for a nut free sauce that is absolutely delectable!  No need to miss out your favorites when making healthier alternatives!
Pair this with a simple cabbage slaw and avocado and you have the perfect meal!
Meal Prep Food Does Not Have To Be Boring
This is a great recipe for meal prep as well. Â You can make the cauliflower wings and cilantro ranch the before and then put together quick tacos for the next several days!

- 3 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 handful cilantro, chopped for topping
- Cilantro Ranch Sauce recipe on my blog - linked above
The Batter Ingredients
- 1/3 cup all purpose GF flour
- 1 tsp arrowroot starch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 cup dairy free plant milk I used almond milk (oat works well too)
- 2 tsp water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425F.
- Into a large bowl, combine all gluten free batter ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Place the cauliflower florets into the batter and mix to coat well.
- Once coated in the batter, place onto a wire cooling rack over a baking sheet or large plate to let any excess batter drip. (If you don't have a wire rack just shake off batter a little before placing them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Place the cauliflower wings into the oven and bake for 25 minutes.
- Then flip and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Into a medium sized bowl, add cabbage, olive oil, lemon juice and sea salt together. Mix and let sit for at least 15 minutes.
- Once the cauliflower wings are cooked, add 1/2 cup of vegan buffalo sauce to a large bowl and add in the cauliflower wings. Mix and coat well with the sauce.
- Place onto a wire baking rack for 5 minutes then place the baking rack (or baking sheet if you don't have one) into the oven for another 3-5 minutes allowing them to crisp up some more.
- Warm up tortillas on the stove top or in the oven for a few minutes.
- Then plate adding your cauliflower wings, cabbage slaw, avocado, cilantro and my cilantro ranch (you can find recipe linked above). Enjoy!
